Why I want to help cure cancer

At the beginning of 1995 I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer.  I spent four months in Sydney receiving treatment and was advised (cheerily) by my Oncologist that I may not see my son's fifth birthday. In 2005 the breast cancer returned and again in 2010. I was diagnosed with metastatic bone cancer in 2015, from which I have been in remission for four years (touch wood).  I am immensely grateful for my good fortune and this is why my son, Christopher (rider) and I are passionate about doing the 2020 Tour de Cure together  - to celebrate and give thanks! As Christopher turns 30!
