Why I want to help cure cancer

I have had by own experience with cancer and was extremely fortunate to have it diagnosed at an early stage and I'm now back in good health.  Many others are not so lucky and their cancer battle is long and hard!  As a research scientist working to develop safer and more effective chemotherapies I'm passionate about making a difference.
