Why I want to help cure cancer

I was diagnosed with a rare breast cancer called Phyllodes tumour, which is 1% of all breast cancers. My tumor was 6.5cm in my right breast.  I was one of the lucky ones thanks to my beautiful Doctor Olivia Andrews insisting on me seeing Dr Noushi and that Dr. Noushi had seen a Phoyllode tumour before.  I had a mastectomy in April 2016,  joined the Signature Ride TdC in September 2016. Tour de Cure was my healing processes.  It helped me to focuse on the positive side of cancer and know that there are poeple out there trying to find a cure. I am so grateful that I have found Tour de Cure, the people are amazing.  I love that TdC supports all cancer.  Tour de Cure receives donations in one hand and gives away with the other.  I have met the most inspiring and kind people.  I can't wait to get back to the TdC bubble.
