Why I want to help cure cancer

I have looked after many patients with cancer throughout my surgical career. I would love to do myself out of a job. THE best thing I can say to any of my patients are the words -“You are cured.” My mother died after an operation for bowel cancer. Both of my wife’s parents died, too young, from cancer. Several other members of my family have been through or are going through a cancer journey. Recently, three medical colleagues have been diagnosed with life-threatening cancers. I'm keen to contribute in anyway possible to stop other families going through this in the future. Please get on board and support my efforts to help find a cure for cancer.
