9 year old Lucien wants to help kids deal with cancer.

For his community leadership project he decided to run an event - 100 riders, 25.5kms each to collectively ride the equivalent of Sydney to Cairns.

Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy

Along the way, each team will have to complete a Be Fit, Be Healthy, Be Happy challenge. Think push ups, listing healthy foods and making your team mates laugh. It's going to be such a fun day!

Riding to help kids dealing with cancer

  • Sunday 21st May 2017
  • 10am – 2pm
  • The goal: collectively ride 2500km
  • 100 riders (age 6 – 12)
  • Each rider to complete up to 3 laps = 25.5km
  • and Tour de Cure Be Fit Be Healthy Be happy challenges each lap

From Lucien:

"I got the idea for Tour de Cure is when I volunteered for Tour de Cure where I saw kids with cancer and it made me very sad. Why I want to do it is when I thought of kids with cancer I don't want the kids either lose their parents or the parents lose their kids.

Then I thought it would be a could idea to do it for my leadership project at Spirit Taekwondo - Brookvale. I will fund raise for Tour de Cure by riding 3 laps around Narrabeen lake for my leadership project at Spirit Taekwondo.

I am targeting 100 kids to ride 3 laps each which is 25 km per child which is 2500 km in total."

*Please note that this is not a Tour de Cure organised event
