CSC
CSC is not unlike other companies in Australia. Many of our people have been personally impacted by cancer and it is just one reason why we feel so strongly about Tour De Cure. The association with Tour de Cure, since 2008, has also helped our support mature to the point that one of our company goals is now to be a Cancer Smart Company (CSC).
We have been thrilled to help TDC reach and exceed its goals, which has been all the more satisfying thanks to the enthusiastic response of our staff and our customers..

OPTUS
Most of us know someone who has been directly or indirectly affected by cancer. Tour de Cure (TDC) provides us all with an opportunity to do something positive in the ongoing fight against this disease. At Optus, we value teamwork and embrace the challenger spirit which is why we continue to support TDC and encourage our people to get involved, either through participating in the ride, or through raising much needed funds to support those impacted by cancer. Money raised by Optus is directed to leading cancer initiatives such as Cancer Council Australia’s ovarian cancer project.
The excellent coverage of the Optus Open Network enables us to track the entire Tour through GPS, keeping all of our staff up to date on the team’s progress.
Optus is proud of its people and to be partnering with TDC for such a worthy cause. We’re looking forward to raising lots of much needed funds this year for Tour de Cure, and having a great ride!

Pfizer Oncology is committed to the discovery, investigation and development of innovative treatment options to improve the outlook for cancer patients worldwide. As science in oncology continues to evolve, Pfizer is pursuing research centred around a personalised approach to cancer treatment and tailoring therapy based on the molecular and/or biologic make-up of the disease. Our robust pipeline consists of 22 biologics and small molecules in development, including several first-in-class compounds. We are currently running over 200 clinical trials, including 14 phase III trials, in some of the most prevalent and difficult-to-treat cancers such as lung, prostate, colorectal, breast, liver, and renal cell.
Our goal is to provide patients with better, more customised treatment options with longer survival rates in various tumour types. Pfizer Oncology works collaboratively with academic institutions, individual researchers, cooperative research groups, governments and licensing partners to further its extensive research and development program. We are committed to partnerships with professional and patient organisations that deliver benefits to patients including disease management tools, awareness of clinical trial options and access to new medicines.
