History

How it all started

In May 2007, what started as a coffee between two mates led to Tour de Cure’s registration as an Australian charity and the inaugural cycling tour.

Over five years Tour de Cure has cycled from;

  • Brisbane to Sydney
  • Melbourne to Sydney
  • Brisbane to Cairns
  • Sydney to Sunshine Coast
  • Sydney to Melbourne

We are currently gearing up for our 2012 Tour which will be from Brisbane to Mission Beach in May 2012. We are also excited to announce also our inaugural 'Cancer Awareness for Country Kids' Tour which will be held in March 2012 that aims to not only raise funds to find a cure for cancer but improve the shocking Cancer statistics in regional Australia.

As always our fundraising is a collaborative effort and we look forward to growing the team, involving more Corporate and engaging with more communities across 2012 in order to raise over $2 million in the fight against cancer.

2010 Tour - Sydney to Sunshine Coast
