Just about every Australian has been on the back of a Bicycle at some stage of their life. The Tour de Cure Team take this message of fitness and well being to the community through sponsored tours between the major capital cities in Australia.
In May this year a team of 100 riders and support crew rode from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast a total of 1400 kilometres to raise much needed funds for the research, support and prevention of cancer. In a historic cycling tour the Tour de Cure team raised over $1.63 million dollars which eclipsed every expectation and goal set by the Tour. For those that supported the Tour de Cure in some way during the 2010 Tour our thanks.
